Theo Phó Giám đốc Trung tâm Công nghệ thông tin Tài nguyên Môi trường, hiện nay, Sở Tài nguyên và Môi trường Đà Nẵng đang sử dụng phần mềm hệ thống thông tin đất đai ViLIS trong việc kê khai đăng ký cấp giấy chứng nhận quyền sử dụng đất, đăng ký biến động đất đai, xây dựng, quản lý, vận hành và khai thác cơ sở dữ liệu đất đai. Tại các Chi nhánh Văn phòng Đăng ký đất đai các quận, huyện đều được thiết lập, cài đặt và cấu hình phần mềm ViLIS để vận hành theo mô hình cơ sơ dữ liệu tập trung
