- Chi phí để hoàn thiện cơ sở dữ liệu và phần mềm rất cao.
- Phần mềm ViLIS không phải là phần mềm đo vẽ và xử lý các số liệu đo vẽ ngoại nghiệp để thành lập BẢN ĐỒ ĐỊA CHÍNH số.
- Khả năng thao tác trên cơ sở dữ liệu thì tương đối tốt, nhưng khả năng đo vẽ, thành lập bản đồ thì chưa thực hiện được, còn phải phụ thuộc vào các phần mềm khác.
