Anandi is the only daughter of Khazan Singh and Bhago of Bilahari. She is a bright, talented, happy 8 year old girl, who aspires to become a teacher like her Sandhya Teacher. But her parents are keen to get her married to Jagdish, grandson of Kalyani Devi.
