Thành phố Machu Picchu nằm ở Thung lũng Urubamba tại đất nước Peru, là một phế tích của người Inca bị thế giới bên ngoài lãng quên từ nhiều thế kỷ. Năm 1911, thành phố này đã gợi lên sự chú ý của thế giới nhờ nhà khảo cổ học Hiram Bingham.
