Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc cùng lãnh đạo Thành phố Hà Nội và một số bộ, ngành, địa phương tham dự lễ khởi công dự án Công viên Kim Quy.

Tham dự và phát biểu tại buổi lễ, Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc chúc mừng TP Hà Nội có một dự án quy mô lớn phục vụ kinh tế mũi nhọn, vui chơi giải trí cho nhân dân TP. Thủ tướng cũng cho rằng việc đầu từ một dự án phục vụ nhu cầu người dân theo hình thức xã hội là cơ chế cần thiết và khuyến khích.

Dự án Công viên văn hóa du lịch vui chơi giải trí Kim Quy được xây dựng theo tiêu chuẩn của một dự án công viên quốc tế... Đây là công viên theo hình thức kinh doanh dịch vụ với việc doanh nghiệp bỏ vốn đầu tư, thu phí hoàn vốn.

Dự án nằm trong kế hoạch xây dựng mới 25 công viên của thành phố Hà Nội, trong đó có 5 công viên đạt tiêu chuẩn khu vực và quốc tế.

Đây cũng là một dự án quan trọng nằm trong Quy hoạch chi tiết xây dựng hai bên tuyến đường Nhật Tân - Nội Bài (đường Võ Nguyên Giáp).

Với tổng mức đầu tư giai đoạn I là 4.600 tỷ đồng, Công viên Kim Quy được thiết kế kết tinh giữa những nét văn hóa đặc sắc ngàn đời của vùng đất Cổ Loa và sự hiện đại của mô hình Universal Studios, Disneyland nổi tiếng toàn cầu.
