Sau khi kết thúc buổi học ở trường, trên đường đi đến thư viện để gặp Nam thì Việt đã gặp một người đàn ông mù đang loay hoay để tìm cách vượt qua đường. Nhưng như thế lại là một điều bất lợi cho người mù. Nên Việt đã quyết định giúp đỡ cho người đàn ông mù đó. Việt đi ra chỗ người đàn ông mù đó và nói "Tôi có thể giúp ông vượt qua con đường này được không". Khi nghe thấy lời nói của Việt thì người đàn ông hơi giật mình nhưng cũng vội đáp 'Vâng". Khi đèn giao thông hiện màu xanh, Việt giữ khuỷu tay và chỉ dẫn người đàn ông cẩn thận đi qua đường. Khi đi qua được đường bên kia thì người đàn ông rất biết ơn Việt và nói " Cảm ơn cậu đã giúp tôi đi qua được con đường này nếu không có cậu thì tôi không biết mình có đi qua được hay không nữa". Việt cười và nói "Không có gì đâu ạ". Việt và người đàn ông tạm biệt nhau và Việt lại tiếp tục đi đến thư viện.
