Bộ Công an đã quyết định tăng cường lực lượng chuyên trách đấu tranh với tội phạm về hàng giả và xâm phạm quyền sở hữu trí tuệ (SHTT). Lực lượng này được bổ sung vào Cục Cảnh sát phòng chống tội phạm buôn lậu, và cục này chuyển tên thành Cục Cảnh sát phòng chống tội phạm buôn lậu, hàng giả và xâm phạm quyền SHTT thuộc Tổng cục Cảnh sát.

The Ministry of public security has decided to strengthen the dedicated forces struggle with crime of counterfeiting and breach of intellectual property rights (IPR). This force was added to Police Department crime of smuggling, and this Bureau rebranded Police Department crime of smuggling, counterfeiting and infringing IPR in the Canton Police Department.
