Thông qua các cuộc trò chuyện để khai thác thêm thông tin, hỗ trợ các phương pháp khác trong việc xử lý phân tích và đưa ra kết luận khách quan. Nội dung đàm thoại là những hoạt động mà Hội và xã hội đang triển khai trợ giúp cho NCT như thế nào ? Đánh giá kết quả đạt được, nhu cầu của NCT hiện nay, những dịch vụ CTXH nào NCT đã được tiếp cận ?
