Chào mọi người,như các bạn đã biết Việt Nam có 54 dân tộc anh em. Nhưng hôm nay tôi muốn kể cho bạn nghe về dân tộc Mường
Người Mường tập trung đông nhất ở tỉnh Hòa Bình và các huyện miền núi tỉnh Thanh Hóa. Dân số tại Việt Nam theo kết quả năm 2009 là 1.268.963 người.Người Mường nói tiếng Mường, ngôn ngữ thuộc nhóm Việt - Mường trong ngữ chi Việt thuộc ngữ tộc Môn-Khmer của ngữ hệ Nam Á.

Người Mường sống trong những ngôi nhà sàn truyền thống. Nhà sàn của người Mường phổ biến là bốn mái (hai mái đầu hồi và hai mái dài). Sàn nhà thấp giống sàn nhà của người Thái. Nhà của người Mường thường ba đến năm gian.. Gian đầu tiên từ cầu thang lên gọi là gian gốc. Đây là gian quy tụ mọi tính linh thiêng của ngôi nhà, là nơi họp mặt gia đình, dành riêng cho nam giới.
