According to him, Japan does not yet have specific plans to start patrolling.Mr. Nakatani has answered questions of the reporters about the comment that the u.s. 7th Fleet Commander Robert Thomas launched last week. Mr Thomas said that, America welcomed the Japanese extended patrols in the South China Sea, as a counterbalance to the increase of larger vessels of CN in order to promote claim of sovereignty over the seas.Currently, the regular Japanese patrols in East China, where they have the maritime dispute with CN.
