1. Lí do chọn đề tài:
Cá tra là một trong những mặt hàng xuất khẩu chủ lực của thuỷ sản Việt Nam nói chung và Công ty TNHH MTV Hải Sản A Man Da nói riêng. Trong những năm qua, xuất khẩu cá tra liên tục giảm qua các năm, đặc biệt trong năm 2012, giá trị xuất khẩu cá tra Việt Nam giảm 13.1% so với cùng kỳ năm 2011. Tổng giá trị xuất khẩu cá tra cả năm 2012 cũng giảm 3.4% so với năm trước, đạt 1.74 tỷ USD.
Cá tra là ngành kinh tế mang lại hiệu quả xuất khẩu cao, với tốc độ phát triển nhanh ngành cá tra Việt Nam đã góp phần đưa kinh tế Việt Nam hội nhập kinh tế thế giới và khu vực. Tuy nhiên, hoạt động xuất khẩu của Việt Nam nói chung và Công ty TNHH MTV Hải Sản A Man Da nói riêng sang các thị trường, đặc biệt là thị trường Mỹ vẫn còn có những yếu tố bất ổn định, thiếu tính bền vững ,đe doạ đến tốc độ tăng trưởng xuất khẩu.
Với mong muốn đề xuất những giải pháp thích hợp cho việc phát triển xuất khẩu cá tra sang thị trường Mỹ. Do đó, em quyết định chọn đề tài nghiên cứu:“PHÂN TÍCH THỰC TRẠNG XUẤT KHẨU CÁ TRA CỦA CÔNG TY TNHH MTV HẢI SẢN A MAN VAOG THỊ TRƯỜNG MỸ VÀ CÁC GIẢI PHÁP THÚC ĐẨY ĐẾN NĂM 2020”
