Tại Việt Nam trong 18 năm vừa qua, P&G đã giúp cải thiện cuộc sống, gia đình và sức khỏe hàng triệu người dân Việt Nam thông qua các chương trình xã hội, cộng đồng ý nghĩa và các sản phẩm chất lượng, đột phá để làm cho cuộc sống tốt đẹp hơn.

Với mong muốn cải thiện cuộc sống cho ngày càng nhiều người dân trên khắp mọi miền đất nước, công ty P&G Việt Nam đã mang chương trình “Nước uống sạch cho trẻ em” đến Việt Nam nhằm giúp cải thiện tình hình bệnh tật do thiếu nước sạch thông qua việc cung cấp túi bột lọc nước P&G Purifier of Water.

Tiếp nối các hoạt động cộng đồng đã thực hiện trong những năm vừa qua, năm học 2013-2014, P&G tiếp tục thực hiện chương trình trao học bổng cho các em học sinh có hoàn cảnh khó khăn nhưng vẫn luôn đạt thành tích cao trong học tập trên địa bàn tỉnh Bình Dương. Với 150 suất học bổng, mỗi suất bao gồm 1 triệu đồng, tập vở và sản phẩm của công ty, P&G mong muốn góp phần giúp các em trang trải cho năm học mới; đồng thời, động viên các em vươn lên noi theo những tấm gương hiếu học của các thế hệ trước.

Thực trạng thiếu nước sạch và công trình vệ sinh tại các trường học, đặc biệt là ở vùng nông thôn, miền núi, khu vực khó khăn, nơi có dân tộc thiểu số… trong những năm gần đây rất đáng báo động. Mặc dù Chính phủ đã có những nỗ lực đáng kể trong việc mang lại một môi trường học tập an toàn tại Việt Nam, nhưng vệ sinh học đường vẫn còn là một vấn đề cấp bách.Với mong muốn góp phần cải thiện tình trạng này, từ năm 2009 đến 2010, P&G đã kết hợp cùng Quỹ Nhi Đồng Liên Hiệp Quốc (UNICEF) thực hiện dự án trị giá 275.000 đô la Mỹ nhằm cung cấp thiết bị cấp nước và vệ sinh cho các trường tiểu học. Đồng thời, dự án còn giúp nâng cao ý thức cho các em học sinh, phụ huynh và giáo viên về thói quen giữ gìn vệ sinh. Tại các địa bàn thuộc bốn tỉnh Điện Biên, Ninh Thuận, An Giang và Đồng Tháp, 7.500 học sinh và 500 giáo viên của 18 trường đã được tập huấn về kỹ năng, ý thức giữ gìn phương tiện vệ sinh chung và môi trường. Với khoản tài trợ này, P&G đã cùng với Quỹ Nhi Đồng Liên Hiệp Quốc đóng góp vào Mục Tiêu Phát triển Giáo Dục Thiên Niên Kỷ và Mục Tiêu Quốc Gia trang bị nhà vệ sinh cho 100% các trường học tại Việt Nam.
