Việt Nam chưa nhập khẩu trái cây nghi nhiễm virus viêm gan A

Những ngày gần đây, một số báo của Australia và Việt Nam đưa tin về việc cơ quan an toàn thực phẩm của Australia thông báo thu hồi sản phẩm quả mọng đông lạnh do Công ty Parties Food phân phối do bị nhiễm virus viêm gan A và một số người sử dụng đã bị nhiễm bệnh.
Các sản phẩm này có nguồn gốc từ Trung Quốc mang nhãn hiệu Nanna’s Frozen Mixed Berries và Creative Gourmet Mixed Berries. Nguyên nhân được cho là do nguồn nước của nơi chế biến bị nhiễm vi sinh vật hoặc quá trình chế biến, đóng gói không đảm bảo vệ sinh.
Trước thông tin đó, ông Nguyễn Xuân Hồng, Cục trưởng Cục Bảo vệ thực vật (Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển Nông thôn) đã chỉ đạo tất cả các đơn vị kiểm dịch thực vật của Cục tại các cửa khẩu trong toàn quốc rà soát việc nhập khẩu quả đông lạnh từ Trung Quốc vào Việt Nam trong năm 2014 và đầu năm 2015 đến nay.
Qua kết quả rà soát, Cục trưởng Nguyễn Xuân Hồng khẳng định trái cây đông lạnh bị nhiễm virus viêm gan A chưa nhập vào Việt Nam.
