- Khi thay thế các thiết bị sử dụng điện, phải mua sắm, trang bị những thiết bị sử dụng điện có dán nhãn tiết kiệm năng lượng.
b). Đối với việc chiếu sáng công cộng:
Các đơn vị đầu tư, quản lý hệ thống chiếu sáng công cộng thực hiện tiết kiệm điện phải đảm bảo an toàn giao thông, trật tự an ninh công cộng, cụ thể bằng các giải pháp sau:
- Kiểm tra, đánh giá chế độ chiếu sáng công cộng theo các tiêu chuẩn chiếu sáng hiện hành, đảm bảo nguyên tắc chiếu sáng hiệu quả, tiết kiệm theo tiêu chuẩn Việt Nam TCXDVN 259:2001;
- Áp dụng hệ thống thiết bị điều khiển tự động có chế độ điều chỉnh công suất để giảm công suất chiếu sáng về đêm khi mật độ giao thông giảm;
- Triển khai thực hiện đầu tư, trang bị hệ thống điều khiển tự động cho các hệ thống chiếu sáng đường phố chính, điều chỉnh thời gian chiếu sáng đường phố hợp lý theo mùa trong năm, phù hợp theo đặc điểm nhu cầu sinh hoạt và các hoạt động, các sự kiện tại địa phương, tránh lãng phí điện;
- Khi thay thế các đèn hư hỏng sử dụng các thiết bị chiếu sáng hiệu suất cao; chiếu sáng đường phố sử dụng bóng đèn natri cao áp và thấp áp, chiếu sáng ngõ nhỏ và đường dành cho người đi bộ sử dụng bóng đèn natri thấp áp công suất nhỏ và đèn compact; chiếu sáng quảng trường dùng đèn metal halide. Khuyến khích sử dụng đèn LED tại các vị trí thích hợp;
- Trong hệ thống đèn chiếu sáng vườn hoa, công viên chỉ sử dụng các loại đèn tiết kiệm điện, giảm 50% công suất chiếu sáng vào giờ cao điểm buổi tối của hệ thống điện, trừ các dịp ngày lễ, ngày tết và các sự kiện lớn tại địa phương;
- Giảm tối đa số bóng đèn tại các cột tháp của đài Phát thanh truyền hình, Bưu điện… chỉ để đèn báo hiệu trên đỉnh cột;
- Đăng ký (Phòng kinh tế và Điện lực huyện, thị) sản lượng điện sử dụng cho từng công tơ đếm sản lượng điện chiếu sáng công cộng trong điều kiện tiết kiệm nhất.
c). Đối với hộ dùng điện cho sinh hoạt, kinh doanh dịch vụ:
- Các hộ gia đình hạn chế sử dụng các thiết bị tiêu thụ điện lớn (máy điều hòa, bình nước nóng, bàn là điện,…) trong các giờ cao điểm từ 17g00 – 21g00 hàng ngày, khuyến khích sử dụng các loại bóng đèn tiết kiệm điện như bóng compact hoặc bóng đèn huỳnh quang T8, T5, chấn lưu hiệu suất cao, thiết bị đun nước nóng bằng năng lượng mặt trời, thiết bị điện có dán nhãn tiết kiệm năng lượng, ngắt các thiết bị điện không sử dụng ra khỏi nguồn điện;
- Các nhà hàng, cơ sở dịch vụ thương mại giảm ít nhất 50% công suất chiếu sáng quảng cáo, trang trí ngoài trời vào cao điểm buổi tối của hệ thống điện, chỉ dùng 01 bóng đèn chiếu sáng biển hiệu, trường hợp có yêu cầu đặc biệt, từ sau 22g tắt toàn bộ đèn chiếu sáng các pano quảng cáo tấm lớn;
- Các nhà hàng, khách sạn, cơ sở dịch vụ thương mại,….tuân thủ nghiêm các quy định tại địa phương về chiếu sáng tiết kiệm và hiệu quả, sẵn sàng cắt, giảm nhu cầu sử dụng điện khi có thông báo của Điện lực tại địa phương trong trường hợp xảy ra thiếu điện.
d). Đối với các doanh nghiệp sản xuất:
