Nhạc country hay còn gọi là nhạc đồng quê. Nó xuất hiện tại Hoa Kỳ vào thập kỷ 30 do những người Anh nhập cư sang Mỹ. Họ đã mang theo những bài hát dân ca đặc trưng của quê hương mình đến đây.
