. Một số nguyên nhân gây ra tình trạng bạo lực trong gia đình
2.1 Nguyên nhân về mặt quản lý nhà nước
Có thể nói các cấp chính quyền từ trung ương đến địa phương do chưa xây dựng được phương án điều tra thực trạng bạo lực gia đình một cách đồng bộ và sâu rộng nên chưa có các kế hoạch và giải pháp cụ thể. Tại các cơ sở địa phương nơi có hành vi bạo lực gia đình diễn ra, việc thiết lập và vận hành cơ chế phòng chống gia đình chưa hiệu quả, còn rất nhiều hành vi bạo lực gia đình đang diễn ra trong cộng đồng xã hội chưa bị phát hiện và ngăn chặn kịp thời nên rất nhiều hành vi khi đã phát hiện thì hậu quả xảy ra đã rất nghiêm trọng và muộn màng.
Tại Việt Nam, Luật phòng chống bạo lực gia đình đã được quốc hội thông qua năm 2007, có hiệu lực từ ngày 01/0702008 nhưng việc thực hiện vẫn còn khó khăn, việc tuyên truyền, giáo dục chưa đạt được nhiều thành công. Vẫn còn rất nhiều thành viên trong xã hội quan niệm bạo lực gia đình là chuyện riêng của từng gia đình, vì vậy mà việc xử lý và phát hiện nhằm ngăn chặn bạo lực xảy ra vẫn còn gặp rất nhiều khó khăn và bất cập.
2.2 Nguyên nhân về mặt xã hội
Có thể nói, một nguyên nhân khác của nạn bạo lực gia đình là do tình trạng bất bình đẳng giới còn tồn tại trong gia đình và ngoài xã hội. Có thể nói rằng chính sự bất bình đẳng sâu sắc trong quan hệ giới và tư tưởng trọng nam khinh nữ là nguyên nhân sâu xa và xuyên suốt các vụ bạo lực trong gia đình. Bởi lẽ, từ xưa đến nay, trong gia đình, quyền uy của người đàn ông luôn cao hơn người phụ nữ. Dựa vào quyền ấy, nhiều ông chồng tự cho mình được đánh vợ, coi đánh vợ như là một sự giáo dục và thể hiện quyền lực của kẻ bề trên đối với kẻ bề dưới. Cũng chính vì tư tưởng trọng nam khinh nữ còn tồn tại trong tư tưởng của rất nhiều người nên rất nhiều phụ nữ bị chồng đánh đập vẫn cam chịu và chấp nhận chung sống mà không dám đấu tranh giải phóng cho mình.
3. Hậu quả xã hội của bạo lưc gia đình
Bạo lực gia đình để lại rất nhiều hậu quả nghiêm trọng cho xã hội, dưới góc độ xã hội học, chúng tôi xin đưa ra một số hậu quả chủ yếu sau đây:
Thứ nhất, bạo lực gia đình gây ra những hậu quả nghiêm trọng về thể xác và tinh thần đối với phụ nữ và tất cả các thành viên khác trong gia đình. Những hậu quả này chất thêm gánh nặng cho hệ thống y tế quốc gia. Bởi lẽ, các phụ nữ bị bạo hành gia đình phải cần đến các dịch vụ chăm sóc y tế cao hơn nhiều so với phụ nữ bình thường. Thứ hai, bạo lực gia đình chống lại phụ nữ tác động tiêu cực đến lực lượng lao động và do đó cũng tác động đến các hoạt động kinh tế của nạn nhân bạo hành. Bạo lực gia đình khiến trẻ em khủng hoảng, mất ngủ, sợ hãi, thiếu tự tin, thất vọng, ảnh hưởng nặng nề đến việc học tập, kỹ năng sống, hòa nhập xã hội của trẻ em. Ở một số nước trên thế giới, nhà trường phải tuyển dụng thêm những giáo viên hoặc chuyên gia tâm lý để hỗ trợ những học sinh là nạn nhân hoặc phải sống trong môi trường bạo lực gia đình. Nếu những đứa trẻ này không được quan tâm và giáo dục đúng mức thì các em có thể trở thành những đứa trẻ hư làm gia tăng tỷ lệ tội phạm vị thành niên, tệ nạn xã hội, chất thêm gánh nặng lên vai các nhà quản lý xã hội.

Do đó mà việc xóa bỏ bạo lực gia đình không chỉ là trách nhiệm của riêng ai mà đòi hỏi phải có sự phối hợp của các cấp, các ngành, các tổ chức chính trị xã hội vá quốc gia trong phòng, chống bạo lực gia đình. Chỉ khi nào công tác phòng, chống bạo lực được triển khai có hiệu quả thì lúc đó gia đình mới được coi là chốn yên bình và hạnh phúc của các thành viên trong gia đình và chúng ta mới có thể đạt được mục tiêu xây dựng gia đình ấm no, hạnh phúc, bình đẳng và phát triển bền vững.
4.2 Một số giải pháp
Thứ nhất, nâng cao nhận thực của phụ nữ và cộng đồng về gia đình và phòng chống bạo lực gia đình.
Nhà nước cần nâng cao nhận thức về giới, bình đẳng giới cho người dân cả nam và nữ đều nhận thức được vị trí, vai trò và trách nhiệm của mình trong xã hội. Cũng qua đó nâng cao nhận thức của người dân để họ không coi bạo lực gia đình là chuyện riêng của các gia đình hay là vấn đề cá nhân mà phải nhận thức là vấn đề xã hội và cần giải quyết nó bằng các chính sách và luật pháp thích hợp.
Để làm được điều này, chúng ta cần thường xuyên tổ chức các hoạt động tuyên truyền giáo dục, truyền thông về giới, bình đẳng và hòa nhập giới. Có thể tổ chức các hình thức truyền thông rộng rãi dưới nhiều hình thức cho cán bộ lãnh đạo, các tổ chức đoàn thể, các báo cáo viên từ đó truyền thông xuống hộ gia đình và phụ nữ. Nội dung của các buổi tuyên truyền có thể nói về bình đẳng giới và tình hình bạo lực ở Việt nam cũng như trên thế giới; nguyên nhân, hậu quả của bạo lực gia đình; các hoạt động của của Liên hiệp quốc, chính phủ, phong trào phụ nữ quốc tế và các lực lượng tiến bộ trong việc ngăn chặn bạo lực gia đình và tuyên truyền; giáo dục pháp luật Việt Nam đối với việc xử lý các trường hợp có hành vi bạo lực gia đình.
