39 nhà xuất bản trên cả nước đứng trước nguy cơ phải đóng cửa

Phó Thủ tướng Vũ Đức Đam vừa có ý kiến chỉ đạo về giải pháp đối với hoạt động của các nhà xuất bản.
Cụ thể, Phó Thủ tướng giao cho Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông phối hợp với cơ quan chủ quản nhà xuất bản phân loại các nhà xuất bản để tiến hành sắp xếp, tái cơ cấu trên cơ sở đó xây dựng tiêu chí hỗ trợ về tài chính.
Bên cạnh đó, Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông phối hợp với các Bộ, ngành, địa phương tăng cường quản lý hoạt động xuất bản; đề xuất sửa đổi, bổ sung các quy định pháp luật về quản lý xuất bản.
Theo báo cáo công tác xuất bản 6 tháng đầu năm 2015 của Cục Xuất bản, In và Phát thanh thuộc Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông, chỉ có 24 trong số 63 nhà xuất bản đảm bảo đủ điều kiện hoạt động theo quy định của Luật Xuất bản.
Còn lại 39 nhà xuất bản đang có nguy cơ phải đóng cửa do không đủ điều kiện hoạt động như thiếu nguồn tài chính để hoạt động (không đủ 5 tỷ đồng), thiếu chức danh lãnh đạo xuất bản, thiếu biên tập viên cơ hữu, thiếu diện tích trụ sở.
