Với nhiều người cao tuổi chiếc gậy chống là vật bất ly thân để hỗ trợ cho họ việc đi lại,di chuyển cũng như sinh hoạt hàng ngày.
Với mong muốn giúp đỡ cho người cao tuổi thuận tiện,tự tin hơn trong việc đi lại sinh hoạt.
Từ đó, nhóm chúng tôi đã thiết kế ra chiếc gậy thông minh dành cho người cao tuổi với các tính năng hữu dụng sau: giúp cho người cao tuổi dễ dàng cho việc đi lại; tự động chiếu sáng vào ban đêm khi có người sử dụng gậy.
Bên cạnh đó gậy còn lắp đặt thêm hệ thống báo động bằng loa khi người già té ngã làm rơi gậy và tự động gọi điện về cho số điện thoại người thân đã cài đặt.
