Twenty-nine percent of respondents said that doing something makes sense that the most motivated in their work. The money accounted for 25%, and the recognition of 17%. So the first way to encourage your staff is to make them feel that they are doing something meaningful. Develop a vision and goals of the company, particularly leading to the involvement of employees in creating them - would motivate them to achieve those goals and help them feel that they are doing something there meaning.
