Xuất phát điểm từ lý do học thạc sĩ theo xu thế và sau đó là theo trách nhiệm với gia đình. Nhưng sau khi hoàn tất chương trình thạc sĩ cùng với những trải nghiệm thực tế, tôi nhận ra rằng mình nên học thạc sĩ, quyết định học đó là đúng đắn, và nếu có điều kiện tôi nên học tiếp lên tiến sĩ và đạt đến những đỉnh cao của học thức.
Tại sao tôi lại suy nghĩ như vậy???
Có một thời gian tôi rất khó chịu với câu nói của ông bà cha mẹ và mọi người xung quanh thường hay nói:” con ơi ráng học thật giỏi đi để sau này có thể sống giàu có, hạnh phúc, sung sướng”.
Thời điểm đó tôi thấy nó chả đúng chút nào cả. Tôi thấy biết bao nhiêu bạn cũng học hành rất siêng năng, chăm chỉ, thành tích học rất tốt nhưng ra trường cũng chỉ có một công việc tốt, cũng chỉ là đi làm thuê và có dư giả chút và cũng bị chi phối bởi rất nhiều thứ xung quanh. Tương lai giàu có, hạnh phúc và sung sướng trông không khả thi xa vời wa.
Và tôi nhận ra rằng, để giàu có mình phải biết cách kinh doanh, tiết kiệm, sống giản dị, kiếm tiền, đầu tư giỏi… để sống hạnh phúc sung sướng mình phải biết cách kiềm chế cảm xúc, biết thỏa mãn và hài lòng đâu là đủ…Và tôi nhận ra rằng ông bà ta nói hoàn toàn đúng, chẳng qua mình chưa hiểu hết được thâm sâu, ý của họ truyền lại. Đó là để thành công là phải học thật giỏi nhưng thành công cái gì thì phải phải giỏi cái đó, ở đây ta hay nhầm lẫn đánh đồng là phải học giỏi ở trên trường lớp, học giỏi về học vấn, bằng cấp.
Khi ta quan niệm học giỏi về học vấn bằng cấp sẽ đem lại cho ta giàu có, hạnh phúc, sung sướng thì sau khi nhận ra bản chất vấn đề, ta dễ rơi vào trạng thái nóng vội, tiêu cực. Ta sẽ không tiếp tục theo con đường học vấn bằng cấp nữa (do tốn nhiều thời gian và chi phí cơ hội) mà sẽ dành thời gian học, rèn luyện cho những gì mà ta muốn đạt được. Đó là một trong những lý do nhiều người không học lên cao nữa hoặc đang học giữa chừng thì bỏ ngang.
Thế thì sao tôi vẫn khuyên bạn nên học thạc sĩ?
Ngoài những lợi ích tôi nói ở trên thì tôi nhận ra một điều rằng, học vấn và sự nghiệp, tiền bạc… là các vấn đề hoàn toàn khác nhau, mỗi cái đều có những giá trị riêng của mình, không nên lấy cái này để so sánh hay phủ nhận cái kia, cái nào là hơn cái nào. Một người giỏi, thành đạt là một người nên đạt tất cả các mục tiêu về học vấn, tài chính, công việc, tình cảm, gia đình, đạo đức, sức khỏe…
Những người thành đạt về mặt học vấn sẽ có tri thức cao hơn, tiếp thu, cập nhật những vấn đề, tri thức mới nhanh hơn, được mọi người trọng nể và đặc biệt có một góc nhìn tư duy hệ thống, toàn diện hơn.
