Tại buổi tiếp, hai Phó Thủ tướng, Bộ trưởng Ngoại giao hai nước vui mừng nhận thấy quan hệ hữu nghị truyền thống, đoàn kết đặc biệt và hợp tác toàn diện Việt Nam và Lào tiếp tục phát triển tốt đẹp trên tất cả các lĩnh vực. Hai bên nhất trí triển khai hiệu quả các văn kiện hợp tác quan trọng mới được ký kết trong năm 2015, gồm Hiệp định Thương mại Việt Nam-Lào, Hiệp định Thương mại biên giới Việt Nam-Lào, Bản ghi nhớ giữa hai Chính phủ về Chiến lược hợp tác trong lĩnh vực giao thông vận tải giai đoạn 2016-2025, tầm nhìn đến năm 2030.

At the meeting, the two Deputy Prime Ministers, Foreign Ministers of the two countries is pleased to recognize the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with Laos and Vietnam continue to develop all over the field.
