Như các bạn đã biết, vòng đàm phán Doha vẫn chưa kết thúc, nó nói lên một điều rằng : Việc thống nhất quan điểm và đi đến một kết luận cuối cùng cho một vòng đàm phán là một việc khó khăn đối với WTO. Nhưng hội nhập khu vực lại giải quyết được vấn đề này, cụ thể đó là vòng đàm phán song phương và đa phương đều được thành lập và kết thúc trong một khoảng thời gian ngắn. Điều này khác với vòng đàm phán Doha của WTO. Điều đó chứng minh rằng đàm phán khu vực sẽ dễ dàng thống nhất ý kiến giữa các thành viên hơn là đàm phán trong khuôn khổ WTO.
