Lượng khách đến Cg tương đối khá nhưng thực chất doannh thu rất thấp, mỗi du khách chỉ tiêu bình quân từ 70000 đến 100000 đồng, tỉ suất sử dụng phòng nghỉ chỉ khoảng 20%, hoạt động chính vào thứ 7 và chủ nhật. Như vậy nhìn chung, du lịch sinh thái ở rừng ngập mặn Cg đã có những bước phát triển đầu tiên nhưng để phát triển bền vững, lâu dài thì cần chú trọng đầu tư vào các khâu tổ chức, xây dựng cơ sở vật chất, quảng bá thương hiệu…
