a. Thông thường con người sẽ trải qua ba giai đoạn chính của cuộc đời: trẻ con, trưởng thành và già nua. Mỗi một giai đoạn cách thức sinh hoạt của con người lại khác nhau rất nhiều. Chính vì vậy, khi thiết kế dự án, tôi đã thiết kế sao cho phù hợp với nhu cầu sinh hoạt của tất cả mọi người trong gia đình.
- Đối với người già: Tầng 1 có lối tiếp cận bằng cầu thang có bậc lớn kèm theo tay vịn, Sàn nhà không thiết kế kiểu giật cấp, độ chênh lệch sàn không quá nhiều (cả những khu vực sinh hoạt chung). Diện tích sàn của phòng khách rộng, có thể thêm giường dự phòng. Bên ngoài hành lang tiếp cận với bể nước được thiết kế lan can và sàn bằng gỗ giúp tạo cảm giác an toàn và chống trơn trượt. - Đối với trẻ em: Trẻ em có tính hiếu động cùng sở thích và cách nhìn nhận sự vật xung quanh có sự khác biệt so với người lớn, và trẻ e cũng cần sự bảo đảm an toàn giống như người già.
