Gia đình tôi thường không có cơ hội ăn cùng nhau vào bữa tối. Bố của tôi đi làm về rất trễ. Mẹ tôi là thợ làm tóc nên cũng không có thời gian đi chợ.
Buổi sáng dì của tôi thường đến chợ mua thức ăn. Nhiệm vụ của tôi là sơ chế thức ăn. Công việc nấu ăn là của dì tôi. Đôi khi tôi cũng nấu tất cả khi dì tôi bận dạy học.Món ăn thường ngày sẽ là cơm, canh... Gia đình tôi ăn chay nên không sử dụng thịt, cá trong tất cả các bữa ăn.
Thời gian làm việc của mỗi người trong gia đình tôi là khác nhau nên không có cơ hội ăn cùng nhau. Chỉ có cuối tuần chúng tôi mới có cơ hội ngồi lại với nhau. Món ăn vào cuối tuần cũng đặc biệt hơn, có thể là lẩu, Phở hoặc mì... tất cả các món ăn này rất ngon bởi vì chúng đều mang hương vị truyền thống của người Việt Nam.
GIa đình tôi không có thói quen ăn ở ngoài. Tôi nghĩ ăn ở nhà là một thói quen tốt. Chúng ta có thể lựa chọn được thực phẩm sạch và rẻ. Bên cạnh đó, ăn tại nhà nhằm gắn kết tình cảm gia đình tốt hơn.
