Bài viết này được thực hiện nhằm đánh giá thực trạng du lịch cộng đồng trên địa bàn tỉnh Điện Biên, đồng thời xác định các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến quyết định tham gia tổ chức du lịch cộng đồng của người dân trên địa bàn tỉnh Điện Biên, một số nhân tố được xác định để người dân tham gia hoạt động này như góp phần nâng cao thu nhập cho người dân, phù hợp với ngành nghề truyền thống, nâng cao trình độ cho các thành viên trong gia đình .... Số liệu được sử dụng để phân tích trong nghiên cứu được thu thập từ 100 hộ gia đình trên địa bàn tỉnh Điện Biên (những hộ gia đình đã và đang tham gia vào tổ chức hoạt động du lịch cộng đồng).
