Nghiên cứu này có mục đích tìm hiểu về những khó khăn của mọi người, cụ thể là những sinh viên đang học tập xa nhà, khi di chuyển về nhà bằng xe bus, xe khách ( loại phương tiện phổ biến nhất) trong những kì nghỉ lễ và lễ kỉ niệm quốc gia. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện trên mẫu là 100 bạn sinh viên đang sống xa quê hương, và đang học tập tại Hà Nội nhằm thu số hiệu và phẩn ứng của họ đối với những khó khăn này. Những số liệu, thông tin đã thu tập được cũng có thể là cơ sở nền tảng hữu ích chi những nghiên cứu sau này, ví dụ như về hành vi người tiêu dùng, hay những nghiên cứu về mảng dịch vụ vận tải.
