Nhóm từ thiện Thái Nguyên Xanh được chính thức thành lập vào tháng 8/2013. Nhóm được thành lập bởi sự nhiệt tình và tấm lòng nhân ái của các anh chị đã đi làm và các bạn sinh viên đang học tập tại tỉnh Thái Nguyên

Thành viên của nhóm lên tới hơn 1000 thành viên phân bố trên khắp tỉnh bao gồm sinh viên, ngoài ra còn có một số anh chị đang công tác có cùng mục đích, ước nguyện, hoài bão được làm một chút gì để mang đến cho các em trẻ nghèo một chút niềm vui, giúp đỡ các cụ già neo đơn đang gặp khó khăn trong cuộc sống.

Nhóm Từ thiện Thái Nguyên Xanh ( TNX ) là một nhóm với chủ trương sinh hoạt có tính cách từ thiện xã hội, hoàn toàn bất vụ lợi, phi chính phủ và phi tôn giáo.

Phương châm của nhóm là: ‘’Hãy bỏ qua những tư tưởng bảo thủ của chính mình, hãy đoàn kết bên nhau, mở rộng lòng nhân ái tạo nên mái nhà “Từ thiện TNX” mãi là một nhóm từ thiện đầy ắp tình người , góp một bàn tay đem lại nụ cười cho những mảnh đời bất hạnh’’
