Chùa Kem có tên chữ là “Sùng Nham Tự”, được xây dựng vào năm Đinh Tỵ (1557) theo kiến trúc chùa hình chữ “Đinh”, thế lưng tựa núi Nham Biền hùng vĩ, mặt hướng nhìn phong cảnh hữu tình.
