Trẻ em hôm nay, thế giới ngày mai.Đúng vậy, trẻ em không những là tương lai của đất nước Việt Nam nói riêng mà còn là của thế giới nói chung. Để bắt kịp đà phát triển của những nước lớn mạnh thì đòi hỏi sự chung sức đồng lòng của tất cả mọi người mà lực lượng chủ yếu là thế hệ trẻ em.
BỞi đó là lực lượng nồng cốt, là chủ nhân của tương lai,là nhân vật chính góp phần tạo nên cái thế, cái dáng đứng cho non sông Tổ quốc. Chính vì vậy, Xã hội quan tâm rất nhiều đến trẻ em. Nhiều trường học được xây dựng và mở rộng. Các em mẫu giáo đến trường được vui chơi, khám phá xung quanh to lớn,múa,hát, kể chuyện, học thơ và bước đầu nhận biết về chữ cái, chữ số.
Lên bậc tiểu học, cấp 2....lại có thêm kiến thức mới,mỗi lứa tuổi được nâng cao dần theo các bộ môn.
SỰ quan tâm của xã hội, của gia đình đối với trẻ em là rất cần thiết.Thế nhưng, mọi người quan tâm trẻ em như thế nào mới đúng mới là quan trọng. Hiện nay, một số gia đình muốn con mình trở thành thần đồng, điều đó khiến cho vấn đề dạy con dã trở thành một áp lục rất nặng, ảnh hưởng không nhỏ đến tâm sinh lý của trẻ em. Cơ thể của trẻ có thể không phát triển bình thường: mong con biết đọc, biết viết cha mẹ ép con theo ý mình, làm cho con cong vẹo cột sống, mắt cận, dị tật khớp tay. Khác với mầm non, bậc tiểu học, trung học cơ sở, tình trạng bắt con học thêm quá nhiều, nhiều cha mẹ xếp lịch cho con lẫn cả ngày lẫn đêm, không có thời gian giải trí, vui chơi,đến thứ bảy, chủ nhật đáng lẽ là thời gian nghỉ ngơi nhưng lại phải vùi đầu vào học thêm. Đây là thực trạng báo động nguy cơ bạo lực học đường, đặc biệt là các thành phố lớn, kỳ vọng của người lớn đã làm mất đi tuổi thơ của trẻ em
