According to the international Cooperation Agency of Japan (JICA), damages economic losses due to traffic jams in big cities of Vietnam such as Hanoi and HCMC. HCM can be up to 2% to 3% of gross domestic product (GDP) [2]. Therefore, the study proposed solutions contribute to reducing traffic congestion for major metropolitan areas of Vietnam is very necessary and urgent.
