Gia đình Host thân mến,
Lời đầu tiên tôi xin chúc gia đình thật nhiều sức khỏe, an vui và hạnh phúc.
Tôi xin được giới thiệu đôi chút về bản thân mình. Tôi tên là Phạm Thị Thu Sang, 46 tuổi. Tôi đang sống ở Vũng Tàu, một thành phố ven biển ở phía nam Việt Nam hiện đang phát triển mạnh mẽ về ngành du lịch và công nghiệp dầu khí. Công việc của gia đình chúng tôi là kinh doanh điện thoại di động.
Con gái chúng tôi tên là Nguyễn Thị Thúy Vy, 16 tuổi, là con út và cũng là niềm tự hào, niềm hy vọng niềm hạnh phúc lớn nhất của gia đình. Vy là đứa con ngoan hiền học giỏi, hiếu thảo, siêng năng, biết phụ giúp mẹ nấu ăn, làm việc nhà. Vy sống chân thành, hòa đồng, biết quan tâm tới người khác và là một cô bé rất lạc quan. Tôi nhận thấy con gái mình trưởng thành hơn tuổi cả ở suy nghĩ lẫn nhận thức và hành động. Trong mọi tình huống, con bé luôn bình tĩnh để tìm ra hướng giải quyết tốt nhất. Những lúc gặp khó khăn, bé không giấu giếm gì mà luôn mở lòng chia sẻ với ba mẹ để nhận được những lời khuyên đúng đắn.
Vy có thời khóa biểu học tập hợp lí sau giờ học ở trường, tự giác làm bài tập về nhà, ít khi để ba mẹ phải nhắc nhở hay than phiền điều gì. Vy có đức tính tự lập, ham học hỏi và tinh thần cầu tiến. Đã nhiều lần bé tâm sự với chúng tôi về ước mơ được đi du học mỹ, đất nước với nền giáo dục hàng đầu thế giới mà bao học sinh ước ước ao được đến học. Ở cái lứa 16, chúng tôi hiểu được vì sao cháu muốn được trải nghiệm, khám phá, muốn “ Đi một ngày đàng học một sàng khôn” bởi chúng tôi cũng đã từng trải qua tuổi trẻ với những hoài bão riêng của mình. Và cuối cùng, sau khi đã cân nhắc kĩ càng, chúng tôi quyết định sẽ ủng hộ cháu thực hiện ước mơ.
Dù con gái chúng tôi có thể thích nghi nhanh với môi trường mới nhưng chúng tôi cũng như những bậc làm cha làm mẹ khác có rất nhiều trăn trở khi cho con đi du học. Cháu chưa bao giờ sống xa gia đình trong một khoảng thời gian dài cũng chưa bao giờ đi nước ngoài nên việc gặp những khó khăn bỡ ngỡ cũng là điều khó tránh khỏi. Chúng tôi không thể đồng hành mãi bên cháu nên xin gửi gắm đứa con gái bé nhỏ mà chúng tôi yêu thương hết mực cho gia đình, nhờ gia đình host chăm sóc, giúp đỡ, thương yêu cháu trong suốt thời gian học tập và sinh sống tại đất nước Cờ Hoa. Nếu cháu có làm điều gì sai, xin gia đình hãy thay chúng tôi nghiêm khắc chỉ bảo cháu.
