AYLA là một tổ chức tình nguyện được thành lập với mục đích xây dựng nhận thức cho thanh niên về các vấn đề kinh tế, xã hội cũng như nâng cao kĩ năng lãnh đạo, kết nối các nước ASEAN với nhau thông qua những chương trình giao lưu văn hóa và trại hè huấn luyện. Hiện tại, AYLA đã xây dựng được mạng lưới khá vững chắc tại Philippines, Indonesia, Campuchia, Thái Lan và Malaysia với các hoạt động được tổ chức thường xuyên và thu hút được sự tham gia của nhiều bạn trẻ. Mục tiêu trong những năm tới của AYLA là hợp thức hóa hoạt động trên toàn ASEAN và thành lập được chi nhánh tại những quốc gia còn lại, hướng tới hợp tác với những tổ chức sinh viên khác trong và ngoài khu vực.

AYLA is a volunteer organization was established with the aim to build awareness for youth about the social, economic problems as well as improving the skills of leadership, the ASEAN countries connected with each other through cultural exchange programs and training camp. Currently, AYLA has built the network of pretty solid in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia with the activities held regularly and attract the participation of many young people. The goal in the coming years of AYLA is legalizing the activity across ASEAN and established branches in the rest of the country, towards partnership with other student organizations in and outside the region.

Currently, AYLA has built pretty solid network in the Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia with the activities held regularly and attracted the participation of many young people. The goal in the coming years of AYLA is legalized throughout ASEAN activities and set up a branch in the remaining countries, aims to collaborate with other student organizations in the region and beyond.
