Biến đổi khí hậu và ô nhiễm môi trường là vấn đề mà thế giới đã và đang quan tâm hàng đầu. Hiện nay môi trường không khí mà chúng ta đang sinh sống hằng ngày tìm ẩn nhiều khói bụi, khí độc rây nguy hiểm cho con người. Chính vì vậy nhóm chúng tôi chọn đề tài “Thiết kế và thực hiện hệ thống giám sát và thu thập dữ liệu về ô nhiễm không khí” để làm đề tài tốt nghiêp cho nhóm. Hệ thống này nhằm mục đích cho chúng ta cái nhìn trực quang dưới dạng biểu đồ trên giao diện wed về mức độ ô nhiễm không khi nơi chúng ta đang sinh sống và làm việc. Hệ thống sẽ dùng các nút cảm biến không khí kết nối với nhau thành một mạng lưới để đo đạt, phân tích sau đó cho kết quả và sẽ cảnh báo nếu phát hiện không khí bị ô nhiễm. Kết quả hệ thống này đã được chúng tôi xây dựng thành công. Tuy nhiên do phạm vi diện tích rất lớn nên cần phải có nhiều cảm biến không khí để hệ thống này làm việc tin cậy và hiệu quả hơn nửa.
