Vậy nên, muốn triển khai hiệu quả công nghệ GIS thì Huế cần phải xây dựng một cấu trúc cơ sở dữ liệu GIS về quy hoạch đô thị. Điều này sẽ góp phần phòng chống ùn tắc giao thông, giảm thiểu tai nạn, phân luồng và quy hoạch giao thông thông minh
