1.2.1. TẠO TÍNH CẤP BÁCH
- Công nghệ mạ nhúng công suất thấp, tiêu hao nhiên liệu cao và ảnh hưởng môi trường, chất lượng sản phẩm thấp. Sản phẩm tôn mạ nhúng không còn được thì trường trong và ngoài nước ưa chuộng.
- Để đáp ứng thị trường trong hiện tại và tương lai cần phải thay đổi nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm, giảm bớt sản xuất các sản phẩm không phù hợp với nhu cầu hiện tại.
- Các máy móc và dây chuyền của công nghệ mạ nhúng đã cũ, gần hết thời gian khấu hao, gây hao phí năng lượng, tiếng ồn, không đảm bảo chất lượng theo chuẩn ISO.
1.2.2 THÀNH LẬP NHÓM DẪN ĐƯỜNG

- Theo yêu cầu của Hội đồng Quản Trị, bộ phận kế hoạch kết hợp với các phòng ban khác điều tra, tìm hiểu, nghiên cứu thị trường nhằm tìm ra công nghệ kỹ thuật mới áp dụng ngay cho sản phẩm tôn. Sau một thời gian tìm hiểu và nghiên cứu, Bộ phận kế hoạch đã đệ trình lên Ban Quản Trị dự án đầu tư dây chuyền mạ NOF. Dưới đây là so sánh cơ bản giữa 2 dây chuyền:
A. DÂY CHUYỀN SẢN XUẤT TÔN THEO CÔNG NGHỆ MẠ NHÚNG
- Công suất: 5.400 tấn/tháng
- Xuất xứ: Ấn độ
- Hàm lượng axit sử dụng: 0.5 l/m2

B. DÂY CHUYỀN SẢN XUẤT TÔN THEO CÔNG NGHỆ NOF (Non oxidising furnace - Lò đốt không oxy làm sạch bề mặt tôn)
- Công suất: 27.000 tấn/tháng
- Xuất xứ: Đức
- Không sử axit làm sạch bề mặt
