2. Mục đích nghiên cứu

- Phương pháp tiếp cận quản lý hoạt động GDHN theo chức năng: chức năng kế hoạch hóa GDHN; chức năng tổ chức; chức năng chỉ đạo; chức năng kiểm tra, đánh giá GDHN;
- Quan điểm hệ thống, cấu trúc: nghiên cứu xem xét quản lý hoạt động GDHN trong các trường THPT, các Trung tâm GDTX-KTHN một cách toàn diện, nhiều mặt, phân tích các nội dung công tác quản lý, chỉ ra được mối quan hệ chặt chẽ công tác quản lý GDHN có liên quan đến tạo nguồn nhân lực;
- Quan điểm lịch sử, logic: xác định phạm vi thời gian, không gian, điều kiện, hoàn cảnh cụ thể để điều tra, thu thập số liệu chính xác phù hợp với mục đích nghiên cứu của đề tài;
- Quan điểm thực tiễn: luôn bám sát thực tiễn công tác quản lý hoạt động GDHN của các trung tâm GDTX-KTHN, các trường THPT để tìm ra các mặt mạnh, mặt yếu, những nguyên nhân, hạn chế, từ đó đề ra các giải pháp mang tính khả thi;
- Phương pháp nghiên cứu lý luận: nghiên cứu, phân tích, tổng hợp các văn kiện, văn bản, tài liệu, sách, báo, thông tin trên internet, các tạp chí khoa học trong và ngoài nước phục vụ nội dung luận án;
- Phương pháp nghiên cứu thực tiễn: thu thập thông tin qua phiếu “Trưng cầu ý kiến” dành cho cán bộ quản lý và giáo viên các trung tâm GDTX-KTHN, THPT ở Bình Dương;
- Phương pháp trưng cầu ý kiến chuyên gia: xin ý kiến một số nhà quản lý giáo dục, chuyên viên có kinh nghiệm từ cấp lãnh đạo Sở GD&ĐT, các chuyên viên chuyên môn của Sở GD&ĐT để làm rõ thực trạng và đề xuất các giải pháp hợp lý;
- Phương pháp thống kê toán học: xử lý thông tin từ “phiếu trưng cầu ý kiến”. Từ đó phân tích thực trạng và tìm ra các giải pháp quản lý phù hợp, thiết thực phục vụ luận án.
8. Những Luận điểm bảo vệ
Những phân tích sâu sắc về chức năng, vai trò của quản lý hoạt động GDHN góp phần tạo điều kiện thực hiện phân luồng học sinh một cách tích cực và có hiệu quả; khai thác chức năng quản lý GDHN gắn với các thành tố để làm rõ điểm mạnh, điểm yếu của quản lý hoạt động GDHN;
Những vấn đề có tính thực tiễn: thành tựu và những bất cập trong hoạt động giáo dục hướng nghiệp ở địa bàn tỉnh Bình Dương. Thông qua kết quả khảo sát thực tiễn khẳng định nguyên nhân của sự bất cập trong quản lý hoạt động GDHN. Từ đó đề ra các giải pháp thích hợp cho hoạt động quản lý;
Những giải pháp cần thiết phải thực hiện ngay trong thời gian trước mắt nhằm nâng cao hiệu quả thực sự của hoạt động GDHN tại các trường THPT và các Trung tâm GDTX. Các giải pháp thực hiện trên cơ sở bám sát chức năng quản lý có tích hợp với các thành tố liên quan lĩnh vực hoạt động GDHN nhằm thúc đẩy hoạt động GDHN có hiệu quả.
9. Đóng góp mới của luận án
Luận án đã tiếp cận và cụ thể hóa một số quan điểm nội dung của lý thuyết về quản lý hoạt động GDHN đáp ứng nhu cầu nguồn nhân lực trong tương lai;
Luận án đã phát hiện được thực trạng về quản lý hoạt động GDHN, nêu bật tình hình hoạt động từ thực tiễn sinh động tại các trung tâm GDTX - KTTH, một số trường trung học phổ thông (những mặt mạnh, mặt yếu, nguyên nhân những bất cập và những thành công) cũng như việc áp dụng các giải pháp quản lý hoạt động giáo dục hướng nghiệp đã tổng kết được trong thực tiễn;
Luận án đã đề xuất được mô hình quản lý hoạt động GDHN góp phần định hướng phát triển nghề nghiệp tương lai học sinh phù hợp với phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của địa phương;
Kết quả nghiên cứu luận án đã đưa ra những điểm mới về quản lý hoạt động GDHN và DNPT trong giai đoạn hiện nay phù hợp với yêu cầu phát triển nguồn nhân lực có chất lượng của đất nước.
10. Kết cấu của luận án: Ngoài phần Mở đầu, phần Kết luận và Danh mục tài liệu tham khảo, nội dung của luận án được kết cấu thành 3 chương.
