Mục tiêu của đề tài : Nghiên cứu thực trạng thị lực của học sinh trường Tiểu học Lê Hồng Phong, Ngô Quyền, Hải Phòng lứa tuổi 6-10.Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang.
Kết luận: Nghiên cứu trên 1454 học sinh trường tiểu học Lê Hồng Phong, phường Đổng Quốc Bình, Quận Ngô Quyền, Hải Phòng lứa tuổi 6-10 cho thấy:
1. Tốc độ giảm thị lực của các em tăng rất nhanh khi 6 tuổi thị lực loai tốt chiếm tỷ lệ 90.56%, thị lực giảm là 9.42% nhưng khi đến 10 tuổi số em thị lực loai tốt chỉ chiếm 47.58%, các em bị giảm thị lực chiếm tới 52.43%,
2. Tỉ lệ giảm thị lực của các em từ 6-10 tuổi chiếm 29.67%.- 29.80%. thị lực loai tốt đạt 70.2%, -70.33%, Tốc độ giảm thị lực đã ở mức độ báo động đỏ.
