Khi hồ sơ của khách hàng đã có đầy đủ các diều kiện, thanh toán viên sẽ tiến hành mở L/C theo trình tự.
• Đăng ký số tham chiếu L/C.
• Chọn ngân hàng thông báo/ ngân hàng thương lượng.
• Đưa dữ liệu vào máy vi tính để mở thư yêu cầu của khách hàng.
• L/C phải dẫn chiếu UCP600 nếu mở bằng Telex hoặc thư. Nếu mở bằng SWIFT thì không cần.
• Hạch toán nội bảng số tiền ký quỹ hoặc lập phiếu báo nợ gửi tới bộ phận kế toán, nhập ngoại bảng số tiền mở L/C, thu phí mở L/C theo quy định hiện hành của Agribank Sài Gòn.
• Chuyển toàn bộ hồ sơ cùng điện mở L/C trình phụ trách phòng, báo cáo trình lãnh đạo ký duyệt.
• Giao một bảng gốc cho khách hàng có dấu chữ ký của lãnh đạo PGD.
