Việt Nam coi trọng quan hệ đối tác chiến lược với Thái Lan

Chiều 14/6, tại Trụ sở Chính phủ, Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc đã tiếp Đại sứ đặc mệnh toàn quyền Vương quốc Thái Lan, ngài Manopchai Vongphakdi nhân dịp nhận nhiệm vụ công tác tại Việt Nam.

Thủ tướng nêu rõ, quan hệ Việt Nam-Thái Lan đang phát triển tốt đẹp, hai nước đã tăng cường liên kết hiệu quả trong các lĩnh vực thương mại và đầu tư. Hiện kim ngạch thương mại hai chiều đã là 11 tỷ USD.

Nhiều doanh nghiệp của Thái Lan đang hoạt động thành công ở Việt Nam. Hai bên cần tăng cường các chương trình, dự án hợp tác để nâng kim ngạch thương mại lên 20 tỷ USD trước năm 2020.

Đại sứ Manopchai Vongphakdi cảm ơn Thủ tướng dành thời gian tiếp và gửi lời hỏi thăm của Nhà vua và Thủ tướng Thái Lan tới Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc.

Đại sứ Thái Lan cho biết trong nhiệm kỳ của mình ông sẽ nỗ lực để thúc đẩy hợp tác mạnh mẽ giữa Chính phủ và nhân dân hai nước Việt Nam-Thái Lan.

Nhân dịp này, Đại sứ Manopchai Vongphakdi cũng trân trọng chuyển lời mời của Thủ tướng Thái Lan Prayuth Chan-ocha mời Thủ tướng Nguyễn Xuân Phúc sang thăm Thái Lan trong thời gian tới./.
