Diện tích nuôi trồng thủy sản năm 2015 toàn tỉnh đạt 1.900 ha, tăng 328 ha so với năm 2010... Nhờ tăng diện tích và năng suất trong nuôi trồng, sản lượng thủy sản tăng 1,89 lần từ 3.156 tấn năm 2010 lên 5.968 tấn năm 2015; nhờ tăng cường đầu tư thâm canh, quan tâm hướng dẫn kỹ thuật thông qua hoạt động khuyến ngư đến tận thôn, bản nên năng suất nuôi thuỷ sản trung bình tăng từ 2,2 tấn/ha năm 2010 lên 2,76 tấn/ha năm 2015.
