A. INTRODUCTION
I. REASONS FOR CHOOSING THE TOPICS
For several years teaching English in secondary school, I realized that the majority of pupils as to the volume, the higher the class the ability to learn English as going down. In other words, knowledge of the English department of the children develop in pyramids. This is not a personal issue Thanh Tho our secondary schools, which is a common problem for the majority of secondary schools in the district. Partly because the children while studying in blocks 6 and 7, basically English subjects are easy to both content and knowledge. That makes them prefer to study subjects in English. But when up to grade 8 and 9 subjects were difficult accretion both in content and knowledge. Besides, the pronunciation, grammar, intonation other English Vietnamese. Further conditions for the children to learn at home and at school are more needy. Therefore, the quality of teaching hours is not high, the effect of absorbing them remains limited.
In the English language programs in secondary schools, 8 English grammar is the foundation, the core of English secondary school system. But most of them have not been paid adequate attention to the 9th grade so they get it right for the kind of exercise is limited. Many children do not know the form of exercises. To meet the demand for quality education that the industry has set and the actual condition of the possibility to apply the knowledge acquired in their homework grammar of the subject many of them do not apply to joint exercises speech with direct - indirect speech. So in the process teaches English 9 to help students with homework skills, especially as related to all forms of verbal form direct - indirect speech. So I chose the theme: "A few small experience in guiding students in grades 9 how to do the exercises related to the form of direct speech - indirect speech", to help them understand the basics of the subject and know how to apply their homework better results.
II. RESEARCH PURPOSE

Students know how to use to solve these types of exercises. Exercise-related forms of knowledge are a lot of grammar exercises form but mostly four types of exercises are as follows:

+ Rewrite the sentences using the word suggests means no change.
Make students like to learn more English courses, from which effective teaching hours and the quality of the children acquire students increasingly enhanced.
