Doanh nghiệp Việt Nam còn chưa chủ động tìm hiểu và nắm bắt kịp thời các quy định, nguyên tắc của WTO nên còn gặp nhiều khó khăn và bất lợi trong quá khứ đầu tư.
Một thách thức không nhỏ khác là doanh nghiệp Việt Nam phần lớn là các doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ cho nên năng lực cạnh tranh kém.
