 3. Tình trạng ô nhiễm trong thành phố chúng ta và cách giải quyết :
Tình trạng ô nhiễm môi trường tại thành phố HCM nó riêng và các thành phố khác trong nước nói chung đang ở mức báo động . Đặc biệt là ô nhiễm nguồn nước.
Ô nhiễm môi trường nước đang ngày trở nên báo động tại TP.HCM. Qua khảo sát các khu vực hồ ,ao ,kênh rạch và các sông trong khu vực nội thành đều bị ô nhiễm nghiêm trọng, vấn đề ô nhiễm chủ yếu là ô nhiễm chất hữu cơ và coliform .Do chất thải sinh hoạt từ khu dân cư và nước thải từ các khu công nghiệp đổ về . Tại TP.HCM nhiều dòng kênh,con sông chết đang là nguy cơ lớn cho sức khỏe người dân và làm đau dầu các nhà quản lý . Chúng ta cần giải quyết vấn đề một cách có hệ thống “ từ gốc tới ngọn “
Đầu tiên là thói quen ý thức sử dụng tài nguyên nước ,sau đó là một hệ thống thoát nước hoàn chỉnh cho đô thị và cuối cùng là nâng cao khả năng xử lý của các nhà máy xử lý nước thải
