Các bao chứa xi măng phải được để cách khỏi mặt đất trong nhà kho đủ lớn và thoáng khí, tránh mưa nắng...Xi măng mới sản xuất còn nóng phải lưu kho sau 22 ngày mới sử dụng. Không sử dụng xi măng đã sản xuất quá 12 tháng và đã bị giảm chất lượng như bị vón cục, chậm đông kết, giảm cường độ
