Theo ước tính của Tổ chức Y tế thế giới, sự nóng lên toàn cầu tính từ năm 1970 đã làm tử vong trên 140.000 người trong 1 năm. Theo kịch bản biến đổi khí hậu ( BĐKH) năm 2015 đến cuối thế kỷ 21, nhiệt độ trung bình năm trên phần lớn diện tích Việt Nam có thể tăng lên 1,7-2,40C, lượng mưa phổ biến trên khoảng từ 5%-15% và mực nước biển có thể dâng lên từ 57-73cm. Trong thời gian gần đây nguy cơ các bệnh truyền nhiễm quay lại như tả, sởi, sốt rét….và sự phát sinh 1 số bệnh truyền nhiễm mới như SARS, cúm AH5N1 có diễn biến phức tạp. Bệnh có nguyên nhân do virut có số lượng bệnh nhân nhập viện cao nhất, trong đó nhiễm virut đường hô hấp có số lượng 1089-1513 ca/ năm, số ca mắc tăng dần vào tháng 3, cao nhất là tháng 8 sau đó giảm dần đến tháng 2 năm sau. Bài viết này sẽ góp phần đưa ra một số giải pháp phòng chống dịch bệnh, giảm thiểu số ca mắc bệnh và tử vong.
