1. Ban tổ chức Huyện ủy Long Thành vừa phối hợp với Liên đoàn lao động huyện, tổ chức thành lập Chi bộ cơ sở Đảng Công ty TNHH Surint Omya Việt Nam đóng tại Khu công nghiệp Gò Dầu với tổng số 4 Đảng viên.
Công ty TNHH Surint Omya Việt Nam là doanh nghiệp của Liên doanh Thái Lan và Thụy Sỹ, chuyên sản xuất bột đá vôi chất lượng cao, nguyên liệu phục vụ cho ngành sản xuất giấy, cao su, nhựa, sơn và các ngành công nghiệp khác, hoạt động từ tháng 9 năm 2005 với tổng số 60 công nhân lao động đều là công đoàn viên đạt 100%. Việc thành lập Chi bộ cơ sở Đảng Công ty TNHH Surint Omya Việt Nam sẽ tiếp thêm động lực cho Đảng viên và công đoàn viên nỗ lực sản xuất, kinh doanh, giúp cho doanh nghiệp ngày càng phát triển vững mạnh, ổn định, qua đó sẽ phát hiện kết nạp thêm những quần chúng ưu tú đứng vào hàng ngũ Đảng. Đến nay, huyện Long Thành đã thành lập được 57 Chi, Đảng bộ cơ sở với 5.582 Đảng viên. Trong đó có 15 Chi, Đảng bộ thuộc khối các doanh nghiệp trong và ngoài nước với 198 Đảng viên.
