Hai Phó Thủ tướng cùng nhất trí cho rằng mối quan hệ hữu nghị truyền thống, đoàn kết đặc biệt và hợp tác toàn diện giữa hai Đảng, hai Nhà nước và nhân dân hai nước trong thời gian qua không ngừng được củng cố và phát triển trên tất cả các lĩnh vực; khẳng định sẽ tiếp tục dành ưu tiên cao nhất và làm hết sức mình vun đắp cho mối quan hệ hữu nghị truyền thống và đoàn kết đặc biệt Việt Nam-Lào. Hai bên nhất trí cùng nhau tổ chức trọng thể Lễ kỷ niệm 55 năm Ngày thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao hai nước và 40 năm Ngày ký Hiệp ước hữu nghị Việt Nam-Lào.

The two Presidents agreed that together the relationship of traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, two countries and two peoples in the past constantly consolidate and develop all over the field; affirmed will continue to take the highest priority and to do their utmost to nurture the relationship of traditional friendship and the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity. The two sides agreed to jointly organize solemn celebrations of the 55 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and 40 years on signing the Vietnam-Laos friendship treaty.

Two Deputy Prime Ministers agreed that the relations of traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and the State and people of the two countries in recent years have been continuously consolidated and developed across all sectors; will continue to assert the highest priority and do our utmost to foster relations of traditional friendship and special solidarity Vietnam-Laos. The two sides agreed to work together successfully held the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations 40 years since the two countries signed the Treaty of Vietnam-Laos friendship.
