Người Nhật có rất nhiều điều kì quái, khác lạ, điên rồ mà chẳng quốc gia nào bằng được, có lẽ vì thế, nên họ cũng là những người có khả năng chạm được vào sự giản đơn một cách cảm xúc nhất, đẹp nhất, như những tác phẩm điện ảnh của Ozu, hay như chính bộ phim hoạt hình anime The Wolf Children của đạo diễn Mamoru Hosoda.
