Chăm chỉ là điều tốt, cũng là yếu tố dẫn đến thành công, con người không thể chạm đến thành công mà không có sự cố gắng trong đó. Chăm chỉ, cố gắng vượt qua những khó khăn, kiên trì đạt được mục tiêu đề ra, đạt được thành quả mà bản thân mong muốn là điều cần thiết.
Nhưng đôi khi tập trung nổ lực cố gắng hết sức lại không đạt được điều mong muốn. Có nhiều tình huống xảy ra minh chứng cho tầm quan trọng không kém của may mắn. Chẳng hạn, cả hai người đều may mắn chăm chỉ như nhau nhưng một người may mắn và một người không may mắn cũng tạo ra sự chênh lệch rồi. Hoặc là 2 người, một người vô cùng siêng năng chăm chỉ, một người thì lười hơn, nhưng người thứ hai lại đạt được thành tích cao hơn, dấu chấm hỏi được đặt ra, tại sao lại có chuyện vô lý đến thế ? Vì thế may mắn và sự chăm chỉ bổ sung cho nhau. Thành công đạt được bằng cách chăm chỉ, may mắn mặc dù xác suất nhỏ nhưng không thể phủ định tầm quan trọng của nó.
